PWHS'S 4x 800 T& F RELAY TEAM MAKES HISTORY AT PENN RELAYS THIS WEEKENDUpdated on 04/28/2026
Congrats to our PW boys 4x800m team of Seniors Josh Bucko, Chris Gekonge, Will Waerig, and Brett Westerfer for competing at the prestigious Penn Relays 4/24-25, breaking their previous school record in an astounding time of 7:51.5 and for the first time in school history being one of twelve teams to qualify for the Championship of America finals.
Showing once again that they are not just one of the top 4x800 relays in the state, but on the national and now international level beating multiple international teams.
