PW BOY'S T & F TEAM
The boys' squad kicked off the competition with strong performances in the field events.
Cole Ashbridge earned a commendable third-place finish in the shot put.
Brett Westerfer displayed exceptional versatility, not only anchoring the 4x800-meter relay to a district-qualifying time of 8:12.48, but also achieving an impressive second-place finish in the high jump with a six-foot clearance.
In track events, Devin Spruill advanced to the finals of the 110-meter hurdles in second position, posting a district-standard time of 14.82 seconds.
The 4x100-meter relay team secured third place with a district-qualifying time of 43.91 seconds.
The 4x400-meter relay team, comprised of William Waerig, Brett Westerfer, Joshue Bucko, and Finnegan Lafferty, also delivered a stellar performance, earning a second-place finish and a district standard with a time of 3:27.86.
Joshue Bucko notably ran the open 400 meters in a district-qualifying time of 50.44 seconds,
in addition to his contributions to both the 4x800 and 4x400 relays.
William Waerig secured third place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:01.38.
PW GIRL'S T & F TEAM
The girls' team also delivered an outstanding performance, notably dominating the 4x400-meter relay, comprised of Gianna Pargola, Emma Simeral, Diana Manges and Sienna Howie, by securing a first-place finish with a remarkable time of 4:12.75.
