PWHS SENIOR LUKE DAMALAS ADVANCES TO STATES FOR OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD

PWHS senior student, Luke Damalas achieved a remarkable accomplishment by qualifying for the Outdoor State Track and Field Championships. Luke will be competing in the 110-meter hurdles at Shippensburg University on May 23rd and 24th, 2025. This is a significant achievement, and we are all incredibly proud of his dedication and hard work. We are confident that he will perform exceptionally well during the State Championships!

We are using the BIG TEAMS -STUDENT CENTRAL platform to complete and upload ALL PIAA paperwork.BIGTEAMS-STUDENT CENTRAL LOGINAll students must have a physical dated on or after 5/1/25 to participate in the 2025-2026 school year per PIAA. Accounts have been created for all students in STUDENT CENTRAL using their school GMAIL account. Parents/Guardians can click on the link below and follow the instructions on how to create and link their account with their student's account. This past weekend, the Plymouth Whitemarsh Boys and Girls Track and Field Teams competed in the SOL American (Liberty Division) Track and Field Championships, with both teams placing 5th overall.Congratulations to the following athletes who medaled in their events! The athletes that are highlighted will be competing this weekend at the District 1 Track & Field Championships at Coatesville High School. A special shout out to Luke Damalas has shattered a long-standing record in the 110-meter high hurdles, surpassing Ozzie Brown's 2004 mark of 14.55 seconds. At last week's S.O.L. conference meet, Luke achieved a stunning time of 14.50 seconds. This exceptional performance not only secures a new school record but also demonstrates Luke's exceptional talent and dedication. PWHS'S MELANIE DALOISIO PLACES 3RD IN THE EASTERN REGIONAL BOWLING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Melanie Daloisio placed 3rd over this past weekend at the Eastern Regional Bowling Championships where there were over 112 girls who competed from multiple schools. Melanie bowled an average of 223 points after 7 games and did not bowl under 200 in any game! She will now be moving on to States which will take place on 3/14 at Pittsburg, PA. This marks the first time in history that PWHS Bowler has solidified a spot in states.
