Tonight PWHS Varsity Ice Hockey team will play Wissahickon at 8:30 PM @ Hatfield Ice (Blue Rink)

We are excited to announce the details of the upcoming special event that will unite our PW Colonials hockey community for an important cause. On Thursday, February 13, 2025, our Varsity team will take on the Wissahickon Trojans at Hatfield Ice Arena (Blue Rink), with the game beginning at 8:30 pm.

This event is not just about hockey—it’s about showing our support for the fight against cancer. We invite everyone to participate in the Cancer Awareness Varsity Game by “Lighting it up Lavender” on game day. Lavender represents all types of cancer, and as we all have loved ones who have battled or continue to battle this disease, this is a meaningful way for us to come together and show solidarity with those who are still fighting.

How can you get involved?
We encourage all fans to wear lavender to show support for this great cause. In addition to wearing lavender, we will be featuring the sale of fan T-shirts and replica Game Jerseys that can be worn to the game, as well as accepting cash and Venmo donations at the door prior to puck drop on Game Day.

100% of proceeds raised will go toward supporting cancer research and those affected by this awe-inspiring diagnosis.
