Biography:
Coach Manero is in his 19th season with the Colonials Baseball program. From 2006-2009, he served as the JV coach, he joined the varsity staff as an assistant in 2010, and has been the varsity head coach since 2013.
Under Coach Manero's tenure, the Colonials have captured two Suburban One League titles, appeared 6 times in the PIAA District One playoffs, and made two appearances in the PIAA State Tournament. Dozens of Colonials have gone on to play collegiate baseball during this time at the Division I, II, and III levels as well as the junior college level. PW grads are currently on rosters for Penn State University, Binghamton University, Lafayette College, Dickinson College, Gettysburg College, Cairn University, Harford College, and Lackawanna College.
Off the field, Coach Manero serves as a franchise general manager for the Bux Mont Carpenter Cup team. He also serves as the District One representative on the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Baseball Coaches Association, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the non-profit On Deck Circle, and organization dedicated to closing opportunity gaps in baseball and softball.
Manero holds a bachelor's degree in secondary education from York College of Pennsylvania and a master's degree in geography from West Chester University. He teaches United States Government and Service Learning at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.

Rich Coletta.
Hitting Coach
Biography:
Rich is a 1988 graduate of Saint Pius X High School where he was a 4-year starter as an infielder. His 1988 team won the PIAA District 1 championship. He was selected as 1st team All-League, 1st Team All Area, and 1st Team All Southeastern PA as a senior. Rich then went on to play Division I baseball at Saint Joseph's University where he was a 3-year starter as an infielder.
After his playing days Rich started his coaching career as an assistant and then head coach of Plymouth Whitemarsh HS from 1993-2003. During his time at PW, his teams won 5 league titles and the District and PA State Titles in 1994.
Rich then moved into the collegiate coaching ranks as assistant coach for Saint Joseph’s University as the pitching coach for the 2004 and 2005 seasons, assistant coach for the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League for 3 summers where he handled the infielders and hitters and had over 60 players taken in the MLB draft, and most recently assistant coach at Ursinus College in 2022.
Prior to coming on board at Ursinus, Rich was an Associate Scout with the Seattle Mariners from 2005-2017 and the World Series Champion Boston Red Sox from 2017-19. He was also the Northeast Director for Team USA Baseball NTIS (National Team Identification Series) for four years.
Rich rejoined the Plymouth Whitemarsh H.S. coaching staff in 2023.
Currently, Rich is the head of the science department at Plymouth Whitemarsh HS, where he teaches Honors Microbiology, Biology, and Infectious Diseases
Michael Reardon.
Assistant Coach
Biography:
Coach Reardon is in his 7th season as an assistant coach on the Varsity Staff. He played at Cardinal Dougherty High School and then The Philadelphia School of Textile & Sciences. His love for the game has allowed him to Coach for over 25 years to give back. His goal is to teach the fundamentals of the game and help players reach the next level.
He also coaches in the Philly Bandits and Colonial Baseball Association organizations. Coach Reardon has helped many student athletes achieve their goal of playing in college and the professional ranks. He is married to Paula and has two adult children, Dutch and Kennedy, both of whom are PWHS Alumni.
